Take Me Out

Above Ltd successfully delivered rigging and automation pre- production, equipment and staff for series two of Take Me Out for ITV1.

With a build schedule of only three days, co-ordinated planning between departments was essential to this successful build. Above Ltd provided rigging for set, sound, lighting and automation.

The set was lifted with 26 Prostar 250Kg hoists. Pre-rigged, motor up, this enabled a very quick set load in. Prostars also removed the need to lift on manual chain blocks, which risks damage to set structures through human error.

The central lift feature, which is used for contestant entrances, was automated using a Kinesys controlled winch.
